وصل سماحة مفتي عكار، الشيخ الدكتور زيد بكّار زكريا، إلى مطار ملبورن قادماً من سيدني، في المحطة الثانية من جولته الاغترابية في أستراليا.
وكان في مقدمة مستقبلي سماحته والوفد المرافق القنصل العام للجمهورية اللبنانية في ملبورن، سعادة الأستاذ طنوس القبعيتي (Tannous Kabiity)، إلى جانب أعضاء وقيادات من الاتحاد الأسترالي للمجالس الإسلامية (AFIC)، ورؤساء وممثلي عدد من المجالس والجمعيات والمؤسسات المجتمعية، إضافة إلى أصحاب الفضيلة المشايخ والقيادات الدينية والاجتماعية وفعاليات الجالية اللبنانية في ملبورن.
ويرافق سماحته في هذه الزيارة فضيلة الشيخ وليد إسماعيل ورئيس صندوق الزكاة – فرع عكار، الأستاذ أسامة الزعبي.
ويتضمن برنامج زيارة سماحته إلى ملبورن سلسلة من اللقاءات الدينية والاجتماعية والمجتمعية مع أبناء الجالية اللبنانية، إلى جانب لقاءات مع عدد من المؤسسات والجمعيات والقيادات المجتمعية.
وتأتي الزيارة في إطار تعزيز التواصل والتعاون وتوطيد الروابط الدينية والاجتماعية والمجتمعية بين لبنان وأبنائه في أستراليا.

🇱🇧🇦🇺 Mufti of Akkar Sheikh Dr Zaid Bakkar Zakaria Arrives in Melbourne for the Second Stop of His Australian Tour
His Eminence the Mufti of Akkar, Sheikh Dr Zaid Bakkar Zakaria, has arrived at Melbourne Airport from Sydney, marking the second stop of his Australian community tour.
His Eminence and the accompanying delegation were welcomed by the Consul General of Lebanon in Melbourne, the Hon. Tannous Kabiity, together with members and leaders of the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils (AFIC), as well as council and association leaders and representatives of community organisations and institutions. Also present were respected sheikhs, religious and community leaders, distinguished guests, and members of Melbourne’s Lebanese community.
Accompanying His Eminence on the visit are Sheikh Walid Ismail and Mr Osama Al-Zoubi, President of the Zakat Fund – Akkar Branch.
His Eminence’s Melbourne program will include a series of religious, social and community meetings with members of the Lebanese community, as well as engagements with various institutions, associations and community representatives.
The visit aims to strengthen communication, cooperation and the longstanding religious, social and community ties between Lebanon and the Lebanese diaspora in Australia.
