في لقاءٍ مميز عكس روح المحبة والتواصل والتلاحم بين أبناء الجالية اللبنانية والعربية والإسلامية في أستراليا، استضاف الأستاذ محمد المصطفى، المرشح عن المقعد البرلماني في منطقة برودميدوس (Broadmeadows)، لقاءً تكريمياً في Sweet Inspirations – Campbellfield، على شرف رئيس بلدية ببنين – العبدة، الأستاذ محمود جوهر، الزائر من لبنان.
وجاء اللقاء بالتعاون والحضور المميز لأعضاء جمعية مزرعة بلدة – أستراليا 🇱🇧🇦🇺، إلى جانب ممثلين وأعضاء من الاتحاد الأسترالي للمجالس الإسلامية (AFIC)، وعدد من المجالس والجمعيات والمؤسسات والفعاليات المجتمعية.
كما شهدت المناسبة حضور الدكتور هيثم عز الدين، إلى جانب نخبة من الشخصيات الاجتماعية ووجهاء وأبناء الجالية، في مشهد جسّد عمق الروابط التي تجمع أبناء الوطن في الاغتراب، وأهمية تعزيز جسور التواصل بين القيادات المحلية في لبنان والجالية اللبنانية في أستراليا.
وشكّل اللقاء مناسبةً للتأكيد على الدور المهم الذي تؤديه المؤسسات والجمعيات والقيادات المجتمعية في توحيد الجهود، وخدمة أبناء الجالية، والحفاظ على الروابط مع لبنان، وتعزيز الحضور اللبناني والعربي والإسلامي في المجتمع الأسترالي.

🇱🇧🇦🇺 Prominent Lebanese-Australian Community Gathering in Campbellfield, Melbourne
In a significant community gathering reflecting the strong bonds of friendship, unity and cooperation within Melbourne’s Lebanese, Arab and Muslim communities, Mr Mohammad Elmustapha, candidate for the Broadmeadows parliamentary seat, hosted a special reception at Sweet Inspirations in Campbellfield in honour of Mr Mahmoud Jawhar, Mayor of Bebnine–Abdeh Municipality, who is visiting Australia from Lebanon.
The gathering brought together members of Jameia Mazraat Balde Australia 🇱🇧🇦🇺, alongside representatives and members of the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils (AFIC), as well as representatives from councils, associations and community organisations.
Also in attendance was Dr Haitham Ezz El-Din, together with respected community leaders, prominent figures and members of Melbourne’s Lebanese community.
The occasion highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation between Lebanese community organisations in Australia and local leaders visiting from Lebanon, while reinforcing the enduring relationship between Lebanon and its diaspora.
The gathering also recognised the vital contribution of community organisations and leaders in bringing people together, serving the community, preserving strong connections with Lebanon, and strengthening the Lebanese, Arab and Muslim presence within Australia’s multicultural society.
