شراكة سنوية تجمع كنيسة مار رومانوس وشركة مترو بتروليوم

تواصل كنيسة مار رومانوس في أوبرن – غرب سيدني، نموّها الروحي والاجتماعي وعملها التوسّعي، بفضل رعاية راعي الأبرشية المارونية المطران أنطوان شربل طربيه، وجهود خادم الرعية الأب شربل عبود، ودعم أبناء الرعية والشركات المساندة للكنيسة، وفي مقدّمها شركة مترو بتروليوم لصاحبيها جان وجورج ديب، التي تربطها شراكة سنوية بالكنيسة.ولمزيد من الدعم للكنيسة توزع شركة مترو بترولوليوم صناديق للتبرع على نحو ٣٠٠ محطة للمحروقات من محطاتها في جميع انحاء استراليا .

وأعلن الأب شربل عبود مؤخراً عن شراء الكنيسة منزلين مجاورين لها، مبدياً شكره لأبناء الرعية والمؤسسين ولجنة الكنيسة والمتطوعين، إضافة إلى نحو ألفي مؤمن يشاركون أسبوعياً في قداديسها.

وأوضح أنّ شراء المنزلين تمّ بمباركة المطران طربيه، وذلك بهدف توفير المزيد من مواقف السيارات وتوسيع مرافق الكنيسة.

كما تحدّث في فيديو حول أهمية هذه الخطوة كل من هاري بزعوني، وفانيسا فرح، مؤكدين على القيمة الكبيرة لهذا الإنجاز في خدمة الرعية والمجتمع.
واعرب المسؤولون في رعية القديس ريمون عن أملهم في الحصول على دعم وقروض بدون فوائد لإنجاز مشاريع الرعية .

Annual Partnership Between St. Raymond’s Maronite Church and Metro Petroleum

St. Raymond’s Maronite Church in Auburn, Western Sydney, continues to grow spiritually, socially, and structurally under the guidance of Maronite Bishop Antoine-Charbel Tarabay, the dedication of parish priest Fr. Charbel Abboud, and the support of parishioners and partner companies—most notably Metro Petroleum, owned by John and George Dib, which maintains an annual partnership with the church.

To further support the church, Metro Petroleum distributes donation boxes at approximately 300 of its fuel stations across Australia.

Fr. Abboud recently announced the acquisition of two neighboring houses, expressing his gratitude to parishioners, founders, the church committee, volunteers, and the nearly two thousand faithful who attend weekly Masses.

He explained that, with the blessing of Bishop Tarabay, the purchase of the properties aims to provide additional parking spaces and expand the church’s facilities.

In a video message, Harry Bazouni and Vanessa Farah spoke about the significance of this achievement, emphasizing its value for the parish and the wider community.
