القنصل الفخري للجمهورية اللبنانية في تسمانيا، السيد فادي الذوقي، يكرّم السيد أحمد صبح بشهادة تقدير
أقامت القنصلية الفخرية للجمهورية اللبنانية في تسمانيا – أستراليا، برئاسة القنصل الفخري السيد فادي الذوقي، حفلاً تكريمياً خاصاً جرى خلاله تقديم شهادة تقدير إلى السيد أحمد صبح، رئيس إذاعة الشرق الأوسط في ملبورن، وذلك تقديراً لجهوده المتميزة، وخدماته الإعلامية والمجتمعية، وإسهاماته المتواصلة في خدمة المجتمع الأسترالي والجالية اللبنانية.
وشهد الحفل حضور عدد من الشخصيات البارزة، من بينهم رئيس بلدية برايتون – أستراليا السيد حنا المعلّم، ورئيس بلدية بزال – عكار، لبنان، السيد محمد موسى، ورئيس غرفة التجارة القبرصية السيد جورج جورجينو، إلى جانب نخبة من القيادات المجتمعية وممثلي الجالية اللبنانية في أستراليا.
وسلّطت المناسبة الضوء على متانة العلاقات التي تجمع الجالية اللبنانية في أستراليا بوطنها الأم، كما أشادت بالدور الفاعل الذي يقوم به أبناء الجالية في تعزيز التعاون الثقافي والاجتماعي والمدني، وترسيخ جسور الصداقة والعلاقات الثنائية بين أستراليا ولبنان.

The Honorary Consulate of the Lebanese Republic in Tasmania, Australia, under the leadership of the Honorary Consul, Mr. Fadi Zouki, hosted a special ceremony during which Mr. Ahmed Sobh, Head of Middle East Radio in Melbourne, was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his outstanding dedication, distinguished service, and ongoing contributions to the Australian community.
The ceremony was attended by several distinguished guests, including the Mayor of Brighton, Australia, Mr. Hanna Al-Moallem, the Mayor of Bzal, Akkar, Lebanon, Mr. Mohammad Moussa, the President of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce, Mr. George Georgino, as well as community leaders and representatives from across the Lebanese-Australian community.
The event highlighted the enduring friendship and strong ties between the Lebanese diaspora in Australia and their homeland, while acknowledging the invaluable efforts of community leaders whose commitment continues to strengthen cultural, civic, and international relations between Australia and Lebanon.
