Our community has been through a very challenging period and everyone, the young, the old, the business owners and workers have suffered.
\nThe coronavirus was not just a health issue but also about our connections with family and friends, the fact we could not do all of the things we like to do in our community for recreation, learning and, for many, celebrating their faith or important multicultural events.
\nThe coronavirus has created financial stress for many people with job losses or reduced working hours as well as the loss of businesses people had worked so hard to build.<\/p>\n

I am standing as a candidate for the Aitken ward to ensure the Hume City Council\u2019s services meet the needs of our community and you and your family as we look to a better future.<\/p>\n

I will never take your vote for granted
